I would like to thank everyone who came out to The Beachcomber last Saturday and helped make the night such a success! All of the bands, The Snipes, Salacious Crumb and Drago were amazing and I can't wait for the next show there on Friday, March 20 for the Beantown Boozehounds' CD Release Party!
Mot of all, however, I can't express enough how grateful I am to Gurley, Rice, Griff and Kristin for learning my songs and doing such a great job playing them with me. I'm forever in your debt.

Well, as promised the new album, "How Many Nails Does A Coffin Need," arrived today! Watch this site for availability information.
In other news, I have two big gigs this week. On Thursday, Jan. 9 I will be at The Clash Bar in Clifton, NJ. Then, on Saturday, Jan. 10, I will be back at O'Toole's Irish Pub in Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. This gig follows the Third Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Plunge. If you want to take the Plunge, meet at Convention Hall at 11:00 AM. We swim at 12 noon! Following that, I will play inside O'Toole's. A $20 donation is requested for the charity the Plunge supports!

Welcome to the brand new Chris Skel Website. I wish to thank my friend, Henry Hernandez for the design! Many of you have been asking me about the availability of the album. There were some production snafus along the way, but I received confirmation that the album shipped from the plant yesterday and I should have it by Monday. Once I do, it will be available and look for details on the Store page.
Thanks and let's hope 2009 will be better than 2008!
